Our Committees

CPAFE's committees, along with the Board, are the driving force behind our organization. It is expected that all members will serve on a committee at one time or another. Participating on any of CPAFE's committees also provides a great opportunity to learn new skills while forming closer relationships and networking with other members.

Finance
The finance committee takes care of the budget for the organization. The committee is responsible for collecting and structuring the dues, program or sponsorship fees, and banking business.

Marketing
The marketing committee oversees the internal and external marketing for CPAFE with the assistance of these subcommittees: Website and Public Relations.

Membership
The objective of the membership committee is to acquire new chapter members and retain current members.

Mentoring
The mentoring committee provides member-to-member guidance with a variety of skills that may be necessary in a particular field. The mentoring committee provides support to the membership with leadership and tutoring so that CPAFE members may achieve their full potential primarily through relationships designed to facilitate the exploration of needs, motivations, and talents for lasting individual growth.

Program
The program committee is responsible for planning and coordinating membership meetings. The committee will find speakers and obtain sponsors for the meetings.

Nominating
The purpose of the Nominating Committee is to identify and solicit qualified individuals for membership on the CPAFE's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. The Chair of the Nominating Committee is the immediate Past President, Susan Roof.
