Quiet Women Rarely Make History: How to Make Your Voice Heard

Gabrielle Sedor & Susan Shanaman

Every CPAFE member has an issue they are passionate about. But not everyone may know what they can do about it, especially when they see that lawmakers are supporting (or not supporting) that issue in a piece of legislation.

-Who do I call??

-What do I say??

-Why would it matter??

It¹s easy to get confused by the legislative process - there are a lot of moving parts. But that means there are also many opportunities for you to make your voice heard. Join us to learn how to have an effective and compelling conversation with your elected official, and to explore free resources to keep track of legislation you care about and in touch with the legislators who represent you. By the end of our presentation we hope you see advocating for yourself and your business as:

-easy

-not scary

-and worth doing
